Caregiver Education

Who is a Caregiver?

Individuals who provide care for another person are referred to as caregivers. This care can be in the form of physical support, emotional guidance, or a combination of both. Caregivers could be parents, family members, friends, or any individuals taking care of children, youth, seniors, or their loved ones.

The program focuses on topics such as stress management, healthy parenting, understanding your child’s mental health, self-care for caregivers, understanding the needs of the person/family you’re caring for, understanding how to get help, navigating the health care system, and more.

Each workshop will be led by a team of volunteers, including a psychologist, social worker, nurse, and the Move Me Foundation Educator.

The program is currently in development and will be launched soon.
